GateWire

Perimeter work for Northern Virginia homes, estates and farms: camera positions, the posts that make them possible, wireless links out to a barn or outbuilding, and driveway gate automation. Low-voltage, labor-only, one published price.

Perimeter Surveillance Upgrades: Coming Soon (awaiting Virginia DCJS licensure)

Camera work is not part of any job booked here right now. The Virginia DCJS Electronic Security Business certification is in progress; this notice changes the day it is issued.

No video feeds are offered or installed today.

All work is low-voltage (under 50 V DC). No line-voltage electrical work is performed.

What we do

  1. Perimeter camera coverage -- the post, the buried line and the power at the position are booked today; the camera work itself is pending Virginia DCJS certification.
  2. A wireless link to a camera position, gate or outbuilding -- a pair of radios aimed and linked where there is line of sight and an outlet at the far end. No trench, no digging, and it is a whole job today: nothing in it waits on a licence.
  3. Setting posts -- somewhere to mount when there is no building, soffit or fence line at the angle you need.
  4. Driveway gate automation -- an existing gate operator on a wired, battery-backed line with an app trigger.

Flat $400 for labor. No hardware markup -- you buy the hardware yourself through our vetted links.

The $400 is a refundable deposit: fully refunded if we cancel, or if you cancel before your scheduled install date. Read the deposit terms.

Your request goes to the one person who does the work, and nobody else. We do not sell, share or resell it as a lead, and the person you book is the person who comes.
